Discover the fascinating world of bees with our exclusive Bee Experience Package at Horsted – a unique countryside escape combining relaxation, learning, and exceptional food.
Your stay includes two nights from Tuesday 14th July including Dinner and Breakfast, along with a special Kitchen Pantry Evening on Wednesday. This evening meal will feature a surprise menu, showcasing locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavours, thoughtfully complemented by a subtle honey-inspired theme.
At the heart of the experience is a 3-hour immersive bee session on Wednesday 15th July, led by expert beekeepers Tony and Toni Birkbeck of Park Farm Cottage Bee Products. The session begins with a full health and safety briefing before you meet the bees and gain a deeper understanding of hive life and behaviour. You’ll also hear an engaging talk on the Asian hornet before honey tasting. You will explore the subtle differences in flavour and character, followed by the opportunity to purchase honey and products.
